Personal Fitness Coaching, Inc. and Digital Colony have partnered to launch DeepFitness.com, a search engine and directory of fitness-related breaking news stories, websites, and instructional articles.
The site combines search functionality similar to Google and the fresh content layout of The Drudge Report.
"We intentionally wanted to combine elements of our favorite sites because we feel they best represent the Internet at its best," co-founder and certified fitness trainer Matt Pitcher says.
Pitcher says that the DeepFitness.com site provided he and his partner an opportunity to combine their passion for the Internet and their joy of fitness.
"We are not only very passionate about the benefits of fitness, but as equally passionate about dessiminating accurate and non-bias fitness information through such a non-filtered means as the Internet."
Pitcher says that he is excited about future enhancements that he and his partner are planning for the site.
"We tell people that if they are interested in fitness at all to bookmark the site and come back to it often because not only is the content updated daily, you never know what new things will appear at the site the next time you visit it."
Future enhancement ideas being considered include RSS newsfeeds, email update alerts, article and site reviews, and more. |
